Integrate

As NOVI continued to grow, the complexity of delivering flexible, high-quality education increased accordingly. Teaching, community interaction and operational processes each played a crucial role in the student journey, yet content, communication and data were not fully integrated within one coherent digital environment.

NOVI operates as a fully online university of applied sciences, offering accredited programmes in IT and business. That positioning brings both opportunity and responsibility. Students expect flexibility, personal guidance and a strong digital learning experience. At the same time, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards and internal quality assurance demand structure, traceability and control.

Over time, the digital landscape had grown organically. Learning content, communication, assignments, progress tracking and community interaction were supported by different tools and workflows. While each element functioned on its own, the overall experience lacked cohesion. Data was fragmented, processes required manual coordination and scaling the organisation meant adding complexity rather than reducing it.

NOVI needed more than an improved learning environment. It required a future-proof digital foundation that could support the entire student lifecycle, from enrolment and onboarding to assessment, graduation and alumni engagement. The platform had to combine flexibility for students and lecturers with robust governance for management and accreditation bodies.

One Platform for the Complete Student Lifecycle

NOVI’s objective was to create a single digital environment that supports the full educational lifecycle. Not just a learning management system, but an integrated platform that connects students, lecturers and operational teams around one shared structure.

The platform needed to combine flexibility with control. Students should experience intuitive navigation, clear progress and direct access to learning materials and community features. Internally, teams required reliable data, structured workflows and full traceability across programmes and cohorts.

Ultimately, the goal was to establish a scalable digital campus that could grow with the organisation. A foundation that enables innovation in didactics and format, while maintaining compliance, quality assurance and operational efficiency.

The result

EdHub has been instrumental in the repositioning and growth of NOVI as a full hybrid University of Applied Sciences. By establishing one coherent digital foundation, the platform enabled NOVI to scale its educational model while strengthening quality, flexibility and student experience.

Learning materials, communication, assignments and progress tracking are brought together in one consistent environment, optimised for both desktop and mobile. Personalised study paths, supported by integrated competency tracking, provide clear insight into progress and next steps, fostering ownership and engagement throughout the programme.

For lecturers and operational teams, the platform delivers structure and transparency. Course design, assessment workflows and feedback processes are embedded in the system, significantly reducing fragmentation and manual coordination. Management gains access to reliable, real time insights into performance, cohort development and programme quality, supporting both internal governance and external accountability.

Strategically, EdHub forms a scalable and adaptable foundation. New programmes, hybrid formats and educational innovations can be introduced without rebuilding the core. The platform is no longer a supporting system, but a strategic asset that underpins NOVI’s ambition to deliver accredited, flexible education at scale.
